Opportunity : Inside Sales Manager

Kovai.co is looking for a highly energetic, results-oriented, and people-focused Inside Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives (AEs). This role is primarily responsible for driving team performance, improving productivity, ensuring operational excellence, and building a high-performing sales organization that consistently achieves revenue and pipeline goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives, ensuring achievement of individual and team revenue and performance targets.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
  • Monitor pipeline health, forecast accuracy, conversion metrics, sales activity, and overall team productivity to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights and regular updates to the Sales Head.
  • Ensure Account Executives consistently follow defined sales processes, qualification frameworks, CRM hygiene, and opportunity management best practices.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations teams to optimize the customer journey and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvements in sales playbooks, qualification methodologies, sales processes, and operational workflows.
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement of new and existing Account Executives.
  • Conduct deal reviews, pipeline reviews, call coaching, and strategy sessions to improve win rates and sales effectiveness.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and implement coaching and development plans to improve performance.
  • Ensure CRM data quality, reporting accuracy, forecasting discipline, and adherence to sales processes.
  • Motivate and inspire the team through recognition, performance management, and continuous feedback.
  • Support hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of new Account Executives as the team grows.
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish quotas, performance benchmarks, and sales objectives.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-powered sales productivity tools and best practices across the sales team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS Sales, Business Development, or Inside Sales, with at least 3–5 years of experience leading or managing Account Executives or Inside Sales teams.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales metrics, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue reporting.
  • Experience managing CRM platforms such as Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales metrics and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Self-driven with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Exposure to AI-powered sales tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, conversation intelligence platforms, or sales automation tools) and experience driving adoption within teams is highly desirable.


Work Timings

Candidates should be willing to work in the 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST shift.
